Since 1743, the University of Delaware has kept its commitment to all Delawareans to admit each qualifying resident. Admissions Information

The University of Delaware is a selective institution that seeks out applicants from a variety of backgrounds who are ambitious and creative. The admissions committee puts a lot of emphasis on high school course selection and overall academic rigor. More important than GPA, however, are grades earned in core classes like English, math, sciences, history and languages.

As previously mentioned, the University of Delaware gladly offers admission to qualified Delawarean residents. While it is not a guarantee of admission, eligible candidates can count on being accepted to UD without a problem. The deadline for applications is January 15, but applicants will still be considered after this date if space is available.
