Bryant Admissions Information

Bryant University
Smithfield, RI (map)

Bryant University’s self-imposed nickname, “The One,” is a reference to the school’s basic curricula-based philosophy: Bryant is one of very few schools that operate on the belief that Liberal Arts and Business are not separate but complementary paths. With a strong emphasis on character and ethics, Bryant cultivates students that are prepared for the professional world. They are challenged by rigorous academics, cultural diversity and exploration, corporate and business experience, and teaching.

Bryant prepares its students to endure and adapt to change, which is a skill that becomes handy both during and after college. Practices such as the incorporation of hands-on business experience and student teaching during the college years make academics unique at the university. Clearly, this distinctive approach works, with 97% of Bryant students employed immediately upon graduation. All classes are taught by professors who are established academic leaders, as opposed to teaching assistants, which gives Bryant students the one-on-one attention and commitment essential to the undergraduate experience.
